we can always use MM hunters in raids.

1st because of their True Shot Aura

2nd because of their Silencing Shot

3rd because of their high AP they can nuke mobs with low armor much easier and etc.

and we can also use some Survival hunters

1st because of their Expose Weekness

2nd because of their trap upgrades

3rd because of their Wyvern sting and etc.

i made this topic because most of our hunters are BM

A minimum of 3 tanks are required, 4 is heavily recommended. Feral druids can take the role of protection warriors extremely well here, but at least 2 well geared protection warriors are required.

You want about 6-8 healers in the fight as well depending on how confident you are in them, but the fewer the better.

Phases

There are 5 phases to the Kael'thas Sunstrider fight. For simplicity, the phases will be briefly explained here and then explained in-depth later on.

Introduction

High Astromancer Solarian is one of the three first bosses in "The Eye". You can reach her through the right corridor in the Al'ar room. The amount of trash you have to clear is comparable to those before Void Reaver. Solarian's room is full of trash mob packs, standing around her near the wall. You have to clear these guys, but they aren't too challenging.

Raid Setup

Solarian has poor armor and is extremely vulnerable to melee attacks. But you must find a balance ...

Obviously, Al'ar is a Phoenix. He's big. He's bad. And he's flaming. Like any good Phoenix, he has two phases. During the first phase, Al'ar is up in the air - tank-able via the four platforms around the side of the room. The first phase ends when Al'ar's hitpoints are reduced to zero. After a few seconds, he is "reborn" and heals himself for full - beginning phase two. Phase two is conducted primarily on the ground. Bringing his hitpoints to zero again will kill him ...

Introduction

Void Reaver is one of the 3 early bosses in the 25 man wing of Tempest Keep that need to be killed in order for raids to gain access to Kael'thas Sunstrider. Compared to Al'ar and High Astromancer Solarian, Void Reaver is a fairly simple encounter that should be attempted as soon as enough raid members are keyed for Tempest Keep, especially considering the high quality of the loot that he drops (tier 5 shoulders and a second random epic).

Zul'Jin is a 5 phase fight. Each phase is meant to represent a unique challenge to the raid force. Zul'Jin is also a long fight by 10 man standards, and is relatively unforgiving to player deaths (as you will gradually be worn down before the end). Whilst the chess event is the least challenging fight by the time you are this deep into Karazhan, there are a few precautions to take before you engage this fight to make it go smoothly.

Ensure that people know which units to control first. Initially you'll need a few people controlling the front row units just to allow the rear ones to pass.

A basic 25 man setup should work. So long as you have 3 Warriors and 8 or 9 healer type classes you should be fine.

There definitely needs to be a warlock in the Maulgar Tank's group for the imp. It makes a huge difference. It is advised that warlocks just use imps, and put them in different tank groups. Recommended is Maulgar's, Kiggler's and Krosh's tank groups.

Having a shadow priest in Maulgar's tanking group is also a big plus.

When you talk to the guy who starts the encounter, make sure that everyone moves onto the stage. Once he's done with his speech, he will walk off the stage and close the door behind him.

When the curtains open, you will see the Grandma standing in the middle. The encounter will not start before you have talked to her. Best to get your main tank to do that.

The Wizard of Oz event is one of the three possible boss encounters from the Opera Hall event in Karazhan. There are a total of six mobs that will need to be dealt with during the fight including Dorothee, Strawman, Roar, Tinhead, Tito, and The Crone. This is not necessarily the kill order as the order will change depending on your group composition.

Nightbane is a 10 Man raid encounter in Karazhan.

Required Preparations

For the tank, a Flask of the Titans or greater is required, along with Stoneshield Potions. The majority of damage put out by Nightbane is physical, so any way to mitigate it is important. As you most definitely want to burn down Nightbane as quickly as possible, bring any pots to increase DPS (such as agility for rogues), and mana pots for your healers. They WILL need it.

Introduction

Prince Malchezaar can be found on the terrace on top of the Broken Tower in Karazhan, beyond the "Chess Event" room. In terms of difficulty he is comparable to the Shade of Aran or Netherspite, however he is easier than Nightbane. The quality of the loot he drops is exceptional, comparable or better than any of the loot from early 25-man instanced bosses. He is also the objective of the "Demonic Presence" quest, part of the line started by obtaining the Master's ...

Introduction

Netherspite is one of the medium difficulty encounters in Karazhan. Technically accessible after killing The Curator, it is recommended that raids kill the Shade of Aran before attempting Netherspite or face the prospect of re-clearing the trash packs leading to Aran in case of repeated wipes on Netherspite. For a raid that has cleared Aran for the first time and facing the choice of attempting Netherspite or the Chess Event, always complete the Chess Event first, especially if ...

Introduction

The Shade of Aran is the sixth/seventh boss event in Karazhan and is one of the harder bosses of the instance. The fight requires communication, teamwork, and much fine tuning.

Overview and Preparation

The encounter requires much DPS as Aran's HP should always be below his mana. He is a spell caster and will very rarely ever melee, hits for very little damage when he does. He has no controllable aggro list and his attacks are completely random. He has a wide variety of ...

Fight Overview & Introduction

The Curator is the 5th encounter in the ten man instance Karazhan, located in the Menagerie. He has a fair amount of health, around one million hit points and melees moderately hard. He has a secondary main ability called a "Hateful Bolt", which hits for around 4000 unmitigated arcane damage. He spawns "flares" rapidly throughout the fight. This fight seems to be a big damage check for your raid, as you will need to be able to put out a ...
